Social Networks

Tumblr

DFS is on Tumblr since January 2014, where it originated. The blog, under the username dylanfosket, is used to promote Dylan’s career within Tumblr, through the publishing of original content in the form of edits and gifs. This publishing is done daily, mixing older and more recent works.

All images published to the DFS blog are tagged and captioned with relevant information concerning sources and copyright holders. Whenever a photographer is unknown, credit goes to the mentioned publication/agency/other. All images, published in the form of edits and gifs, are watermarked. This does not mean the website takes credit for any of them. Photo credits go to the mentioned photographers/others.

All posts can be liked, reblogged and commented upon. Feel free to add your own captions when reblogging them but do not edit/delete the original ones. Leave credit where it is due. If you are not a fan of having captions displayed on your blog, try changing to a theme that hides captions instead of deleting them.

Our edits/gifs can be re-published in any other website without our knowledge, provided the following terms are followed:
a) These shares must be sporadic. That is to say, edits/gifs can be re-published to a certain page/account every now and then but not in a continuous way.
b) Edits/gifs cannot be redone. That is to say, no further changes can be made to them, as they are the final product.
c) Edits/gifs should always present the current dylanfosket.org watermark. The watermark cannot be cropped off or blurred.
Doing one or all of the mentioned actions will incur in misuse of DFS property.

The following examples are seen as good use of edits/gifs made and published by DFS in Tumblr or any other website:
a) One-of-a-time upload of a single edit/gif, where the material retains watermarking, regardless of further crediting being given or not.
b) One-of-a-time upload of a bunch of edits/gifs that don’t surpass 15 units, and where the material retains watermarking, regardless of further crediting being given or not.
c) Use of gifs as reaction gifs, where the material retains watermarking, regardless of further crediting being given or not. This particular use is not limited to a one-of-a-time basis, but good sense should always be employed, as with any other situation.

Twitter

DFS is on Twitter, under the username dylanfosketorg. Most tweets consist of shares from the DFS website or blog, but there are also other forms of tweets and retweets.

The following or the retweeting of a user through the DFS Twitter does not mean its endorsement or any affiliation with it but is purely circumstantial. DFS has no way to evaluate individual accounts on Twitter and therefore cannot be held responsible for their actions.

Others

To present date, DFS is only present at Tumblr and Twitter and not in any other social network, including, but not limited to, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram or VK. Any page/account claiming to have an affiliation with DFS is incurring in a misdemeanour and should be reported.

Any page/account publishing material watermarked as dylanfosket.org in a continuous fashion, regardless of claiming or not affiliation with DFS, is incurring in a misuse of DFS property. Furthermore, any page/account publishing material without the dylanfosket.org watermark, by the means of cropping it off or blurring it, is incurring in misuse of DFS property. Both cases should be reported.

RPG Etiquette

Using Dylan as a character’s face claim, fc, muse or avatar is an individual decision that has nothing to do with DFS and requires no contact with us. However, the use of DFS property in support of the roleplay activity should follow similar terms to those set in the Social Networks section.

If you roleplay on Tumblr, and if you would like to have a DFS blog post reblogged, feel free to add your own captions when reblogging them but do not edit/delete the original ones. Leave credit where it is due. If you are not a fan of having captions displayed on your blog, try changing to a theme that hides captions instead of deleting them.

If you roleplay elsewhere, you can re-publish edits/gifs without our knowledge, provided they are not redone and that they present the current dylanfosket.org watermark. The watermark cannot be cropped off or blurred. No further crediting is needed.

No matter where you play, you can always use DFS gifs as reaction gifs, provided they are not redone and that they present the current dylanfosket.org watermark. The watermark cannot be cropped off or blurred. No further crediting is needed. Additionally, you may crop DFS edits to use as your page/account’s icon without crediting, but this is limited to personal use. You cannot make icons for distribution. We have a good Icon Sort you can use.
