Shooting for Buffalo Zine With Daviz Uzquiza & Adrián González-Cohen

What are the inspirations in this photo series? Where was it shot?

González-Cohen: It was magic. We spent a weekend in this sort of castle that we rented. It was like holidays, a treat to ourselves. It was the first thing we did for the issue, we wanted to get in the mood. So me and David, we went to the National Theatre Archive and selected all the pieces. It was a dream. We were trying period stuff, hats, corsets and just throwing it in racks! Then we put it in a car and we headed to Surrey, with a lot of hummus from Tesco and snacks. It was the first time I was driving on the left and it was crazy. We picked up the models in this little cute train station in the middle of nowhere. We brought them to our castle and they were flipping. We just spent the weekend chilling, doing props, eating, drinking and taking pics. I would love to live my life like that.

Any fun anecdotes from the shoot?

Uzquiza: Dylan Fosket, one of the models, once stayed with us overnight in the house. We had a proper 18th century girls’ pyjama party, trying on outfits from the archive of the National Theatre, with the fire on in the chimney (in July!), drinking whiskey, reading poetry, getting possessed by characters in a book by Jane Austen.

Interview Magazine Talks With Bakir and Hedlund of CMMN SWDN

Hedlund [describing the ideal man]: Last season, we were inspired by the model Dylan Fosket—it seems he’s on our inspiration boards almost every season. He has a very angelic look. He’s like a man and a boy, and a bit androgynous. We love that interplay of the masculine and feminine. But we really find a lot of inspiration from the guys we see wearing out products on Instagram.

Meet The Models From ‘Ambiguity’

Dylan Fosket’s white hair and piercing blue eyes sing of evil in its purest form. The IMG boy’s inquisitive energy provides an interesting result in both still and moving images. His movement reads as an oxymoron – whimsical yet somber – leaving us wanting for answers yet comforted by our own perplexity.

Shooting for I.T. Post With Kwannam Chu

Back in Spring, we all went to Tarrytown to shoot with the magical Dylan Fosket. Wax kept saying Dylan was a unicorn, & I agreed.

Why Boys by Girls Loves Dylan

We are delighted to welcome Dylan Fosket at IMG World to his official Boys by Girls boy profile. We feel that he has thoroughly deserved one from his outstanding work with Shannon Sinclair in their beautiful portrait series. In this dark and gritty feature we see Dylan looking fresh faced and mysterious as he wonders around a desolate beach in Brooklyn. His white hair blowing in the wind and his striking face make for an emotional yet edgy feature and we have to thank Shannon Sinclair for capturing him so beautifully. This beauty is repeated in the duo’s stunningly strong editorial Hero, which presents a captivating juxtaposition between Dylan’s fresh and pure face, and the grimy and derelict location.

Having moved from his native California to New York, Dylan came onto the modelling scene at the end of 2012, and in the past year he has racked up quite an impressive CV. Having walked for Acne in their Paris show last season, he managed to bag their SS14 lookbook. He has also featured in V Man, Interview Russia, W Magazine and is a reoccurcing face for i-D editorials. We are sure you will be as impressed with his dark beauty as we are.

Portrait Series by Shannon Sinclair

This week we present Dylan Fosket at IMG World as our New Face in this stunning black and white feature photographed by Shannon Sinclair. Shannon shot the L.A native on and around a desolate beach in Brooklyn, and we have to say he does looks rather at home there. The soft tone creates a beguiling and mysterious atmosphere surrounding this white haired beauty that we can’t seem to take our eyes off.

Dylan has recently made the move from California to New York to concentrate on his modeling, and it seems to be paying off. He has already been shot for Interview Russia, V Man, and recently featured as the face of Acne’s S/S 14 Lookbook and walked in their Paris show. With his striking white hair and boyish charm this young boy’s future is looking very bright indeed. We look forward to seeing what he does next.
